Michael here lived in a boarding house or hotel where there were a LOT of others living there. Could this be referring to this Michael?

May 25, 1908 Michael McGing, age 20 and listed as single, arrived in New York City on the ship Caledonia, having sailed steerage from Glasgow, Scotland. Pollohshaw, Scotland is listed as his place of residence. His brother bought the ticket, and he had $10 with him He had never before been in the US. He was staying with his brother Jim (?) McGing, 924 Woodbridge Rd, St. Paul Minnesota. Place of birth is listed as Mayo. He is shown as 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a fresh complexion, fair hair and blue eyes.

This is interesting, a McGing born in New York about 1864 whose father was a McGing also born in New York. Could that be this group of McGings, settled in upstate New York and shown in the 1830 census?
