Raymond Garrity served in the United States Navy from February 1958 to April 1959, as a Seaman Recruit.
Raymond Passed in 2012 and being without next of kin that could be located, his remains were held by the funeral home.
This year he was located, and identified as a veteran by the Missing in America Project. They began, through legal means, to have him released to them in lieu of a family to ensure a proper and respectful military interment an Jacksonville National Cemetery.
Raymond Garrity stood for us, now it our turn to honor him as he is transferred to his final duty station.

JVincent, ASC. (Research):Raymond Garrity was a veteran who served as a SR in the U.S. Navy. He served from 1958 to 1959.
He was interred with full military honors on Friday, January 25, 2013 through the efforts of the Missing in America Project. The service was attended by the Patriot Guard Riders and the Jacksonville Naval Air Station Honor Guard.

MilanDustevich, 76, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, Oct. 9 2008, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born March 1, 1932, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Michael and Nellie Ozga Dustevich. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an engineer/designer by Davy Dravo Engineering Firm, formerly of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Irwin. He was a veteran of the Army, serving during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Beth Brisbine. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Margaret Garrity Dustevich; two children, Michelle Henry and her husband, Robert, of Latrobe, and Michael Dustevich and his wife, Jackie, of Mt Lebanon; eight grandchildren, Ryan Dustevich, Chris and Amber Brisbine, Molly and Emily Henry, Daniel, Cory and Aaron Thoma; sisters and brothers, John, Mark, Mildred and Diane; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 504 Oak St., Irwin. Parting prayers will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home, followed by an 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, North Huntingdon. John F. Ott assisting the family with arrangements.
