Pre-deceased by her brothers Tommy, Philip, Murt, Ray and sister Dell. Sadly missed by her brother Paddy, sisters Barbara and Carmel, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces,extended family, neighbors and friends. Reposing at her residence on Tuesday evening from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Mass on Wednesday at 1 o'clock in Saint John The Baptist Church, The Neale with burial afterwards in The Neale Cemetery.

DEATH OF "QUIET MAN" EXTRA, JOE MELLOTTE
There were sorrowful scenes yesterday (Tuesday) when the remains of 76 year old Joe Mellotte were laid to rest in his native The Neale. Mr. Mellotte, who acted as a stand-in for John Wayne in "The Quiet Man" film died suddenly on Sunday. Mr. Mellotte, well built and with a strong physical resemblance to the late John Wayne, ran a thriving family pub and restaurant business since his younger days. "Quiet Man" buffs have been beating a path to his door since the film was made to hear stories about the film told with enthusiasm and a inimitable style. "If I got a dollar for every question I was asked by tourists about the film, I would be a multi-millionaire", he used to joke. Mr. Mellotte was husband of Sal and a brother of the late Stan and Michael. He is survived by his sons, Richard, Dermot, George, Maurice, Joseph and daughter Ann; son-in-law; grandchildren; sisters, Mary, Mona, Clare, and Collette; sisters in law; brothers-in-law; nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
