She was born in Steubenville, OH on July 12, 1937 the daughter of the late LeRoy and Agnus Stewart Schell. She was retired from the School of Bright Promise as a bus driver. Martha was Presbyterian by faith an avid Big Red Football and Steubenville High School Band fan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Tom Schell. Martha is survived by her children Lynn (Mike) Dheel of Pickerington, OH, Thomas Van Kirk and Scotty Van Kirk, both of Steubenville, OH, Schelley (Dave) Brooks of Dillonvale, OH, Larry (Nicole) Van Kirk of Toronto, OH and Tracey (Sam) Jackson of Steubenville, OH; grandchildren Larry Van Kirk, Christina Jordan, Preston, Donell and Gary Turner, Zack and Anna Van Kirk, Ricky (Taylor) Fugate, Katie-Lynn and Kendrick Dheel; 6 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home (formerly McClaves), 611 N. 4th Street, Steubenville, OH on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8p.m., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1p.m. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
