Gerald R. "Jerry" Garbash 47, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 29, 2020 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. He was born October 28, 1972 in Elyria. Jerry worked as an Electrician with Local #38 for twenty seven years. He was a devoted father, son, and brother. Jerry was an avid Browns fan, and loved listening to Led Zeppelin. Jerry will be loved and missed by "My Boys".

Survivors include two daughters; Melanie R. and Rebecca J. Garbash both of Elyria, his parents; Joseph R. and Carol J. (nee: Wykrent) Garbash. Additional survivors include two sisters; Kim A. Stone (Adam) of Avon, Kathleen A. Strickler (Rick) of Elyria, two brothers; Joseph A. (Leslie) of Columbia Station, Jeffrey R. (Sieglinde) of Elyria, eleven nieces and nephews, eleven great nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by a sister; Deborrah J. Garbash.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Thursday June 4, 2020 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626. (Social distancing guidelines will apply in the funeral home.) Funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Benefit of Gerald R. Garbash at any Fifth Third Bank location.

Robert Dupler was born on October 23, 1938 in OhioG. He and Mary A. Knapp were married. He died on November 18, 2017, at age 79, in FloridaG.
