Ann L. Munson, 96, formerly of New Castle, passed away on November 22, 2017 in Maryland. Born on August 28, 1921 in West Pittsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Adel Cionni Trocci. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leroy Munson.

Ann was a devoted member of Independent Methodist Church.

Ann is survived by her sister, Alba Kessler of West Pittsburg, PA; grandchildren, Ron Ettinger and wife Tara of Abingdon, MD, Jodi Ettinger of New Castle, and Amy Evans and husband Brian of Pulaski, PA; great-grandchildren, Justin Ettinger, Brad Ettinger, Brandi Ettinger Albright and husband Aaron, Sheard Evans, and Tyler Trimper; and great-great-grandchild, Nathan Trimper. In addition to her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by her children, Beverly Michaels and JoAnn Shaffer, and brother, Joseph Trocci.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Reverend Frederick Gilbert.

Interment will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
