Tim lived most of his life in the Syracuse and Baldwinsville areas. He was married to the late Marjorie L. Evans for 55 years. Tim was a Syracuse police officer, he spent his retired years between New York and Florida. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, telling stories about his days as a police officer, smoking a cigar and enjoying a Guinness. Tim was proud of his Irish heritage and was well known for the silly nicknames he gave to those he loved. Predeceased by his son Michael, his brothers Philip and Michael, special brother Philip Charlebois and sister Maureen Klementowski. Survived by daughters, Marjorie Battisti, Millie Newcomb, Mary Sollars and son, Tim Giblin Jr. He was a loving grandfather to Mary Burch, Rachel Gates, Tim Giblin III, Richie Newcomb, Regan Newcomb, six great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 20 from 9am to 10:00am in St. Lucy's Church, 432 Gifford Street, Syracuse, NY 13204. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am in the church. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY. A very special thank you to the many care givers who lovingly took care of Tim during the last year.
