His battlefield grave was discovered after www1 ended and he was re-interred in Ste Emilie Valley Cemetery , near Villers Faucon, France. This year, on the 100th anniversary of his death, three members of his family (Anne's grandchildren) visited his grave. I have many records for John.

Frank T. Casey, 76, of McHenry and formerly of Crystal Lake, died Monday, April 11, 2011, after a brief illness at Northern Illinois Medical Center, surrounded by his family.
He was born Jan. 23, 1935, in Chicago, to Martin and Margaret (Kerrigan) Casey.
He was a graduate of Lane Technical High School in Chicago and a veteran of the Naval Reserve. He also was the former service manager at Colby Motors and Crystal Lake Chrysler. He was a fourth-degree member and past grand knight of Knights of Columbus Father McCormick Council No. 3880.
He is survived by his children, Meg (Dan) O'Brien, Geri (Lee) Flynn, Frank (Katherine Kennedy) Casey, Pat (Julie) Casey, Louise (Mark) Mueller, Anne (Tom) Nutley and Leo Casey; his grandchildren, Kyle, Colleen, Danny and Patrick O'Brien, Devin, Dylan and Delaney Flynn, Jacob and McKenna Casey, Mitch and Amanda Mueller and Samantha, Bridget, Tommy and Alena Nutley; a great-grandson, Carrick Smith; his former spouse and friend, Louise; a brother, Martin (Joan) Casey; a sister-in-law, Carol Casey; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary (Jerry) Bode; his brothers, William (Margaret) Casey and John Casey; and a nephew, Jimmy Casey.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Skaja Bachmann Funeral Home, 7715 W. Route 14, Crystal Lake. Prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, April 14, at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass celebration.
Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Knights of Columbus Father McCormick Council No. 3880.
