Reposing at her residence on Tuedsay evening from 7 o'clock until Friday morning with removal to Aughagower Church for Mass at 12 o'clock with the funeral proceeding to the adjoining cemetery.

Nonie Dolan (nee McGing) was the youngest of nine children born to Patrick and Ann McGing, Glenmask. She started school in 1935 in Shraheen and moved in with her aunt and two uncles.

Nonie loved music and she also loved to dance and had a great love for animals and farming, especially dogs. She was very happy to spend all day in the bog. In her later years Nonie always wanted to be kept informed as to the goings on at the farm and the wellbeing of all the animals.

In 1952 Nonie married the love of her life Eddie from Glenagoshleen and they were blessed with six children. In June 1990 Eddie passed away.

Nonie is pre-deceased by her daughter Mary Gibbons, (Kiltrashaun) and is mourned by her daughters Ann Creany, (Portadown); Noreen Heraty (Rockfield); Eamon Dolan (London) and Michael and Tom Dolan (Shraheen); daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Nora and Margaret (London); nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Large crowds called to her home to attend her wake and pay their respects over two days until her removal took place to St Patrick's Church, Aughagower. Mass was celebrated by Fr Micheál MacGréil. Readings were by Nicky Mulchrone and Karen Heraty, responsorial psalm by Ciaran O'Malley and prayers of the faithful were read by Shane Heraty, Colette O'Neill, Vinny Dolan, Michelle Dolan, Tomás Dolan and James Dolan. The offertory gifts were carried to the altar by Ann Creany and Eamon Dolan. Symbols of Nonie's life were brought to the altar by her great-grandchildren Enda, Ciara, Nicole, Ryan Muirinn and Lochlann and the reflection was read by Thomás Creany.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.
