Alma "Penny" (Pignetti) Ging, 91, of Scott Township, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016. She was the wife of the late John J. Ging Jr.; loving mother of Diane C. (Douglas) Weidner, of Castle Shannon, and Jacqueline "Jackee" Ging, of Scott Township; and proud grandmother of Mary L. Weidner, of Castle Shannon. She was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews of the Ging, Pignetti and Schad families.

Penny was a 1946 graduate of the Mercy School of Nursing and worked for many years as a nurse at St. Clair Hospital. She was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church since 1958, former Eucharistic minister and former president of the Women's Guild.

Friends will be welcomed from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Grace, 310 Kane Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15243.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Grace.
