Elizabeth M. Giblin, 92, of DeWitt and Thousand Island Park, died Tuesday. Bette was a member of Rockefeller United Methodist Church and worked at Carrier Corporation. She volunteered at the DeWitt and Thousand Island Park li-braries as well as Community Hospital and Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Philip P. Giblin; son, Terrence (Karen) Giblin; grandchildren, Susan (Jerry) Seawood and Michael (Jennifer) Giblin; and great-grandchildren, Makayla Seawood and Lucas Giblin. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Rockefeller United Methodist Church, 350 Nottingham Rd., Syracuse. The family will greet friends at the church following the service. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thousand Island Park Library or the Humane Association of CNY, 4915 1/2 W. Taft Rd., Liverpool, NY 13088. Arrangements are being handled by Fairchild & Meech DeWitt Chapel.
