CONNEAUT — Thomas J. Conoboy, age 62, formerly of Jackson Street, Conneaut, OH, died Sunday, October 17, 2004, in the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.

Born in Conneaut, June 19, 1942, he was the son of the late Martin J. and Cecelia (Best) Conoboy and had resided here his entire life.

Mr. Conoboy was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Loyal Order of Moose #472.

In his leisure time, he enjoyed cards, bingo, sports, picture puzzles, and being with his family and friends.

Survivors include a sister, Coletta Conoboy, and a brother, Martin B. Conoboy, both of Conneaut; his sister-in-law, Marie L. Conoboy of Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews, including Sharon M. Conoboy, Joseph P. Conoboy, Martin J. Conoboy, Stephen A. Conoboy, Kaitlyn Conoboy, Tyler Conoboy, Zachery Conoboy, and Andrew Conoboy, all of Jefferson, Sheila Metcalf of Ashtabula, and Shawn P. Conoboy of Rome, Italy.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joann Conoboy; and a brother, James.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, with the Reverend Raymond Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Church on Wednesday, one hour prior to the Service.

The family suggests that memorials be made in his name to the Church Capital Campaign Fund. Envelopes will be available at the THOMPSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 345 Main Street, Conneaut, who is in charge of arrangements, or at the Church.
