Mrs. Mary Finn, aged 75, of 183 Garfield St. died of a coronary thrombosis at 2 a.m. today in South Side Hospital. She had been ill two days.
Born March 18, 1877 in County Galway Ireland. Mrs. Finn was a daughter of Anthony and Sarah Cusack Dormidy. She came to Youngstown from Ireland 65 years ago and was a member of St. Patrick Church.
Mrs. Finn leaves her husband, Michael, whom she married 45 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick Church. Friends may call this evening and tomorrow afternoon and evening at the Fox Funeral Home.

Catherine Darmody was born on February 25, 1873 in Churchfield, Mayo, IrelandG. She and Thomas Orbin Rowe were married on June 14, 1899 in Youngstown, Mahoning County, OhioG. She died on June 16, 1947, at age 74, in Youngstown, Mahoning County, OhioG.

(Research):Michael Finn, 80, of 183 Garfield St. died of a heart ailment at 10:10 a.m. Saturday at South Side Hospital.

Mr. Finn was born November 8th, 1976, in Youngstown, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Finn. A retired General Fireproofing Co. employee, he was a member of St. Patrick Church. His wife, the former Mary Dormidy, died in 1952.

Mr. Finn leaves a brother, James, of Oxnard California.

The body is at the Fox Funeral Home, where friends may call this evening and Monday afternoon and evening.

Thomas Orbin Rowe was born on April 19, 1879 in OhioG. He and Catherine Darmody were married on June 14, 1899 in Youngstown, Mahoning County, OhioG. He died on January 18, 1960, at age 80.

William Orbin Rowe was born on April 19, 1900 in Youngstown, Mahoning County, OhioG. He and Freda Stetler were married on June 14, 1921 in Youngstown, Mahoning County, OhioG. He died on August 30, 1966, at age 66, in OhioG.

(Research):William O. Roe, Sr., 66, of 1455 Walbridge Ave., a service deputy for the Lucas County Sheriff Offices, and a former constable of Oregon Township, died today in Flower Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Youngstown, Mr. Roe came to Toledo 50 years ago. He was a carpenter 40 years, employed for 20 years by Rex W. Davenport, a Toledo contractor. He retired two months ago.

Mr. Roe was a service deputy 36 years. He served as constable of Oregon Township for 27 years, until its incorporation in 1957. He had also been a dispatcher for the Oregon Police Department for two years.

He was a member of the Oregon volunteer fire department, National Sheriff's Association, Oddfellows, and First St. Mark's Lutheran Church, in Oregon.

Surviving are his wife, Grace; daughter, Mrs. Patricia Bridge, of Toledo; sons, William, Jr., and Robert, both of Toledo, and Howard, of Phoenix, Ariz.; stepsons, Robert Jirinec and Richard Jirinec, both of Toledo; sister, Mrs. Estella Ruch, of Toledo; 12 grandchildren, and 5 step-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the H. H. Birkenkamp Mortuary, Broadway, with burial in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Roe was born in Alpena, Mich., and lived in Toledo 54 years. She was a member of First St. Mark's Lutheran Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of Central Grove Lodge, IOOF, and the Daughters of America.

Surviving are her husband, William; daughter, Mrs. Patricia Bridge, Toledo; sons, William, Jr., and Robert, of Toledo, and Howard, of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Mrs. Olga Benkie, Alpena, and Mrs. Minnie Jacob, Toledo and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the H. H. Birkenkamp Mortuary, Trilby. Burial will be Toledo Memorial Park.

Surviving are his wife, Estella; son, Ervin, Jr., Toledo; daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Gerwin and Mrs. Verna Sander, both of Bradner; Mrs. Geraldine Romstadt, Curtice, and Mrs. Leola Croak, Oregon; brother, Ernest, Tiffin; sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Shutt, Tiffin, ad Mrs. Elsie Goedicki, Clyde, O., and 16 grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in First St. Mark's Lutheran Church with burial in Toledo Memorial Park. The family requests that any tributes be in the form of con-tributions to the church building fund.

(Research):Robert R. Roe, age 88, of Oregon, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Bob was born to William and Freda (Stelter) Roe in Oregon, Ohio on July 8, 1933. He was a 1953 graduate of Clay High School where he was a member of the 4-year undefeated Clay Eagle Football team playing defense.

Bob retired as an Iron Ore Operator in 1987 and went on to work for Owens Corning and St. Charles Hospital grounds crew. He was an engineer with the Oregon Fire Department Station #2 for 32 years. I

In 1961, he began coaching peewee football having the honor of naming Coy Elementary's mascot the Coy Rams. Bob coached Fassett Junior High teams and the freshman team at Clay High. He was an avid Buckeye football fan and a longtime booster of Clay athletics. His season tickets were just under the press box. Bob loved to travel and camp and lived for his children and grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his children, Robert (Laura) Roe and Jeff (Lori) Roe; grandchildren, Jordan (Sam) Jones, Lauren Roe, Brennan (Sami) Roe, and Alex Roe; great-grandchildren, Madeline and Liza Jones and Jonas Roe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia, in 2010; and also siblings, William Jr., Howard, Floyd, and Patricia.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021, from 3 until 8 p.m. with a Firefighter Service at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Oregon Fire Department or St Mark Lutheran Church.

As a child and young adult she was an acrobat with a circus. Her memberships included Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, OH and the Stitch and Chatter Club of Sandusky County.

Surviving Verna are her sons: Jeff Sander of Risingsun, OH, Chuck (Patti) Sander of Stony Ridge, OH, Carl (Sheri) Sander of Old Fort, OH, son-in-law: Kenneth Dick of Clyde, OH, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and sister, Evelyn Gerwin of Bradner, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Craig Sander, daughter: Roxanne Dick, brother: Ervin Ruch, Jr., sisters: Leola Croak and Gerry Romstadt.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. from Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, OH, where there will be additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Musteric.
Interment will be in Pemberville Cemetery, Pemberville, OH.
