Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, George; daughter, Beverly Kay Taylor; a granddaughter, Sheree Kay Huber; and sister, Maxine C. Jakes.

Barbara Fay Mabry Huber, 80, of Waco, Texas, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 3:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Hospital with her family at her bedside.

A celebration of life will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Hewitt, interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. A visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park.

Barbara was born November 29, 1938 to parents, GL and Eunice Mabry of Bellmead. She married Charles V. Huber May 31, 1956, and graduated from La Vega High School in 1957.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. Barbara was a member of FBC of Hewitt, TX and a member of Gideons International. She and our dad previously volunteered with Campers on Mission and ran the Snack Bar at Lakeview Baptist Assembly in Lonestar, TX for ten summers.

Barbara loved reading and playing Mexican Train with her friends twice a week.

She is survived by two daughters, Annette and husband, Bill Gleason, Lisa and husband, Glenn Willis; son, Curtis Huber; grandsons, Michael Gleason, Stephen and wife, Brittany Gleason; grandchildren, Wendi and GH Willis; great-granddaughters, Brielle, Alayna and Isabel Gleason; great-grandson, Austin Fullwider and beloved dog, Molly.

Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherree Kay; husband, Charles V. Huber; parents, GL and Eunice Mabry and sister, Beverly Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Gideons International, Lakeview Baptist Assembly, PO Box 130, Lonestar, TX 75668 or FBC of Hewitt, Texas.

(Research):Charles Vincent Huber, 75, passed away Monday, Sept. 6, 2010. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at First Baptist Church in Hewitt with Pastor Roy Marshall and the Rev. Bill Gleason officiating. Interment will follow immediately after service at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Waco Memorial Funeral Home.

Charles was born in Eddie, Texas, to the late Emeral Vincent Huber and Willie Mae Lawson. Charles was a 1953 graduate of Waco High School and attended college at Baylor for three years. Charles worked at Sears for 25 years, the last of those years, he was in the Waco Sears store. He loved his time working for the Jones Library until 1998, when he retired. He married Barbara F. Mabry and they were married for 54 years and had three daughters and one son together. Charles was a member of the "Gideons" and of the "Campers on Mission."He also volunteered at Lakeview Baptist Assembly in Lone Star, Texas, for 11 years.

Charles was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherree Kay Huber, who passed away in 1960.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Barbara Huber; son, Curtis Huber, both of Woodway; daughters, Annette Gleason and husband, Bill, of Cuero, Texas, and Lisa Willis and husband, Glenn, of Somerville; grandchildren, Michael Gleason of Pettus, Texas, and Stephen Gleason and fiancée, Brittany Fritz, of Pennsylvania; step-grandchildren, Wendy Willis, of Finland and G.H. Willis, of Waco; and sister, Barbara Clark, of Garland.
