(Research):Oscar "Neil" Williams, 69, of Spicewood, Texas, passed away on February 12, 2017. He was born on October 16, 1947, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Jess and Dorothy (Sams) Williams. Neil proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam where he was a sharpshooter and earned many awards including: National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Bronze Service stars; and Republic Of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Oscar was known to many as Neil, or Uncle Neil. He loved fishing, duck hunting, and photography. He worked as a designer for over 40 years. Neil loved to barbecue and bake bread for his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his big hugs, and lots of laughter.

Neil was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Williams. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Dusty Williams; and grandson, Tyler Neil Williams. He is also survived by his sister Jessie Scott, and brother Robert Williams.

A family and friends graveside service will be held. Neil will be laid to rest next to his wife, Glenda in White Rock Cemetery, Spicewood, Texas.

Vivian Ann Leeper was born on December 14, 1947 in TexasG. She died on January 22, 2020, at age 72, in TexasG.
(Research):Vivian Ann Whiteman, 73, passed into eternal rest on January 22, 2020. She was born December 14, 1947 in Houston, Texas to parents Delbert and Margaret Leeper. She graduated from M. B. Smiley High School in 1967. Vivian was a corporate officer and bookkeeper for Houston Technical Sales, Inc. She was a member of Amateur Radio Campers. RV camping with friends, gardening, and devoting time to her grandchildren were her passions.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Clifford A. Lipp. Left to cherish her memories are husband John C. Whiteman, daughter Lisa G. Soester, grandchildren: Penny, Eliuah and Ophelia Soester, sister Linda G. Lipp.

Vivian was loved by so many. She always had an open home and heart for anyone who needed it. She enjoyed visiting and traveling with friends. She was a wonderful mother, wife, sister and friend. She showed us unconditional love and will be missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive extended family and friends for visitation on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral will be on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Family Chapel at Brookside. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and caregivers who cared for her during the last 12 years of her life. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving a donation to the American Lung Association in her name.
