Survived by his children, MaryAnn (Philip) Genovese; John (Margaret) McNeely Jr.; Michael; Patricia (John) Gordon; David (Anna-Marie) McNeely; and their mother, Mary Harvey; grandchildren, John Taylor (Jenn), Melissa and Philip Thomas Genovese; John "Jack" "Trap" McNeely, Sean, Carlin and Grady Gordon, Maryn McNeely; great-grandchildren, Emma and Sam Genovese; many nieces and nephews.
John grew up in St. Paul and attended St. Mark's Catholic School, St. Thomas Academy (1949) and St. Thomas College prior to being drafted by the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon his return, he received his B.S. from Georgetown University (1955) and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center (1958). He joined Briggs and Morgan in 1959, concentrated his practice in the areas of probate and trust law, estate planning, and taxation. He retired over 50 years later. Our dad was a great storyteller and loved a good story.
Mass of Christian Burial 2 pm Friday, February 3, 2012, at Church of Saint Louis, King of France (506 Cedar Street, St. Paul) immediately followed by a celebration of our father's life.
Memorials preferred to Saint Thomas Academy (www. cadets.com) or Convent of the Visitation School (www. Visitation.net). Private interment Resurrection Cemetery. Arr. O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home 651-698-0796.

Mary Ann Alviani, age 74 of Annapolis, Maryland died at her home on April 5, 2008.
Known to family and friends as "Mickey McNeely", Mary Ann was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on January 22, 1934. She attended Georgetown University. A self employed business owner, she dabbled in a lot of areas but spend mose of her life in the shoe industry importing shoes from Brazil and Italy.
An art connoisseur, she received various Artistic Merits. Mary Ann was an avid "people watcher" who's best achievement was being the "best mother in the world and best friend".
A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church she loved Italy, Italian music and traveling Italy and elsewhere. She was a Master Chef and loved her family more than anything.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fulvia Alviani who died in February 2003.
She is survived by a daughter; Gloria Alviani and 4 sons; Dennis, Fabio, Ivo and Kevin Alviani all of Annapolis. A sister; Connie Willwerscheid of St. Paul, Minnesota and 2 brothers; Jack McNeely and Jim McNeely both of Minnesota.
Also survived by 5 grandchildren.

Mary (Mork) Harvey of Minneapolis, born on July 16th, died peacefully and gracefully on August 16th, 2022 at the age of 87. A graduate of Stephens College and the University of Minnesota. Her beauty inside and out, sense of style and wit will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
Mary's greatest joy was her family, friends, and her faith. Cherished memories of growing up in Anoka on the Mississippi River with her father and mother and golfing/waterskiing with brother, Frank. Pride and joy of raising five children (born within 6 years) in Highland Park.
Member and past president of the Junior League of St. Paul. Former Director of Development for the Convent of the Visitation School, the University of Minnesota Arboretum, the San Diego Natural History Museum, San Diego Opera and the Marion Center of St. Paul. Mary's philanthropic endeavors continued throughout her lifetime.
A Communicant, Eucharistic Minister and avid volunteer of the Basilica of Saint Mary. Mary married Robert Harvey in 1996 and resided in Minneapolis where they enjoyed long walks and traveling.
Preceded in death by parents, Dr. Frank and Loretta Mork; brother, Frank; and John J. McNeely.
