Geraldine "Gerri" Ann McGing (Stein) FORMERLY OF ST. JOHN, IN - Geraldine "Gerri" Ann McGing (Stein), formerly of St. John entered eternal rest on July 7, 2018 after a brief illness. Raised in Calumet City, IL, she married Michael McGing, Jr. and moved to St. John to raise her family. She was a loving wife, mother, cheer coach, church volunteer, and long time member of St. John Evangelist parish. She retired from K-Mart after working there in both Indiana and Florida. Gerri loved her family and grandchildren more than anything. After raising her children she enjoyed a long and happy retirement in Largo, FL. She is survived by her long-time companion Keith Barr; son Michael (Jane) McGing with grandchildren Keith and Marlene McGing; son-in-law Rich Bobby (Cheryl) with granddaughter Sarah Bobby; granddaughter Kasey Kolosh (Jim Spasoff) and great-grandsons Tristan and Evan Spasoff; Brother-in-law Patrick McGing and Sister-in-law Marge (Gene) Wolanin. Preceded in death by her parents Robert "Smitty" and Ann Stein; husband Michael (1989), daughter Kimberly Bobby (1999) and sister Joan Heinrich. Services were held in Largo, FL.
