The story that I have heard about Michael Meeneghan is that he came to USA about 1880 and worked in the mines in Pennsylvania and the steel mill in Youngstown, he sent money home for his siblings to come over and when they got here Michael returned to Ireland and married Mary McGing and there he remained for the rest of his life.

However, found Michael the son coming to the US in Apr 1923 and staying with his father in Cleveland. Mom was still at home. (Research):1901 Irish Census
