Diana was a native and lifelong resident of the coast. She graduated from Biloxi High School and from MGCCC with her Electrician Certificate. Diana was employed with Bob Singh at Subway restaurants for 16 years. She loved music and dancing, but most of all spending time with her son.

She was preceded in death by her uncles, Wendall Earl Lincks and Glenn Lincks, Sr.; her aunt, Edna Raley Lopez; and her best friend, Phillip Moran.

Diana's survivors include her son, Joseph Thomas Bassett; her mother, Mona Lincks Hesler; her father, Larry Maricich; her grandmother, Diana Agnes Lincks; her uncles, Eugene Lincks and Gregory Lincks; her aunt, Donna M. Jackson; her brothers, Glenn Eagle, Jr. and Efrain Hernandez, Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Abigail, Madison, Conner and Glen, Jr. Lincks and Zachery Wright; and numerous cousins.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Interment will be in Biloxi City Cemetery.

(Research):John Terry Yoakum was born in Clifton, Texas, but was a lifelong resident of Rockdale, and graduated Rockdale High School. John married Lavada June Wenzel on February 7, 1958 in Rockdale. He worked in the family business, Yoakum House Moving, for 35 years and then as a heavy equipment operator for ALCOA for 22 years until his retirement. John was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale. He was an avid University of Texas sports fan. John died on Thursday, September 26, 2014 at his home in Rockdale surrounded by his family. (Research):Lavada June Yoakum, age 77 of Rockdale, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 in Hutto, Texas.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 24, 2017 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Gary Veit officiating. Burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. Visitation is also Friday from 9:30 until service time at the funeral home.

Lavada was born in Rockdale on February 4, 1940 to Paul Alfred and Bessie Irma (Doss) Wenzel. She has lived all of her life in Rockdale. She was a 1957 graduate of Rockdale High School, where she was a twirler and Drum Majorette. She graduated Beautician School in Houston. On February 7, 1958, she and John W. Yoakum were married in Rockdale. She had first worked a number of years as a beautician. She then bought Ideal Cleaners in Rockdale and operated it over 15 years. She was also a homemaker, member of Peace Lutheran Church and enjoyed bowling.

She was preceded in death by her husband on September 26, 2014; their son, Robert Terrence Yoakum on February 29, 2004 and her parents.

Surviving are two grandchildren, Jacob Yoakum of Rockdale and Brittany Renee Waxler and husband Justin of Andrews, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Jaylee Grace Waxler, Jenna Tate Waxler and Blaze Bolton Waxler; a brother, Leon Wenzel and wife Gaylynne of League City; a sister, Joeva Powell and husband Britt of Rockdale along with a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are James Powell, Greg Wenzel, Berry Edelmon, Terry Edelmon, Donnie Edelmon, Justin Waxler.

(Research):Robert Yoakum, a lifelong resident of Rockdale, was born May 28, 1963 in Temple to John W. and Lavada J. Wenzel Yoakum. He was a 1981 graduate of Rockdale High School. Mr. Yoakum was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and vice president of Rockdale Girls Softball Assn. He was a pot tender at Alcoa, and prior to that a heavy equipment operator for Smith Construction. He died Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004 in Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale. Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Paul A. Wenzel and John W. Yoakum Sr. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Brian Bauer of Peace Lutheran Church officiating. Burial followed in the I.O.O.F. (Research):Frank Elton Edelmon, age, 87 of Pflugerville, TX, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024, at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas after a short battle with Cancer.



Services will be 1 pm, Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale TX. The family will receive visitors at 12 pm prior services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.



Frank was born on July 13, 1937, in San Angelo, Texas, to Louie and Willie Edelmon. He was united in marriage on May 24th, 1957, to Cynthia Yoakum at the Murray St. Church of Christ, in Rockdale TX. Frank was a devoted family man and an active member of his community. Supporting his children was a priority, and they could always count on him to be there. No matter the weather, freezing cold or extreme heat, his boys could look up from whatever field or track they were on and see him in the stands cheering them on. Frank coached countless youth sports teams and took on numerous volunteer roles, including equipment manager, league president, concessions manager, booster club president, and many others throughout his life. In the 1970s, he spent most of his Sundays at motocross tracks across Texas, serving as his son's mechanic and often helping other racers repair their bikes trackside. Always ready to lend a hand, Frank was the go-to person for any project— whether building something or simply needing an extra pair of hands. He was always willing to show up, and more often than not, outwork everyone around him.



He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Opal and Louie Cole Edelmon and his sister Ruby Smith of Lexington, TX. Frank had a successful career as a Sales Manager with Dial Corporation before retiring. Never one to remain idle, he continued working for Lowe's as a merchandiser for 13 years after retirement. Known for his tireless work ethic, if you were working with Frank, you most likely did not take many breaks.



Frank's legacy of hard work, dedication to family, and service to others will be cherished by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those he touched throughout his remarkable life.
