Patrick Thomas Connor
M, #9626, b. 1915
Parents
Biography
Patrick Thomas Connor was born in 1915 in California, United States
G.
Name found in the probate files of Jane McGing. Will dated 2/15/1935 says he is an adult living in San Francisco. He does not appear in the census and is lised as presumed deceased in teh 1946 will of his father and again in the 1964 probate of Jane his mother.
Per a letter dated 7/10/1968, it was stated that the belief was that Patrick THomas Connor was a priest and had died before his father in 1946.
If he were away at the seminary before his mother's will mwas made in 1935, and if one assumes he went at age 18, and was born in 1915 (given parents married in 1914) then he'd be at seminay 1932 - 33.
But he could be the same kid, if she really was married in 1921. Have to consider the seminary angle, esp with the Depression.

Biography
Ursula Sadauskaite was born in 1859 in Aukštoji Village, Marijampole Parish, Suwalki District (Gubernya), Lithuania

Michael Novikas were married on October 25, 1887 in Marijampole (Aukštoji Village), Lithuania
G.
Ursula Sadauskaite was also known as Ursala Sadauskas. Lithuanian research
In Lithuanian, we have three versions of family name:
male, female married, and female unmarried.
In standard Lithuanian today, the rules are:
if male name ends in -is, female unmarried ends in -ytë
if male ends in -as, female unmarried ends in -aitë
if male ends in -a, female unmarried ends in -aitë
if male ends in -us, female unmarried ends in -utë.
All female married end in -ienë.
IN OLD DAYS, many female unmarried names ended in -utë, that was before there was standard Lithuanian and people did not apply grammar rules, they just said their names as was customary in their region.

Jankaitis - Jankaitienë - Jankaitytë
Jonkaitis - Jonkaitienë - Jonkaitytë
Novikas - Novikienë - Novikaitë
Navikas - Navikienë - Navikaitë
Pucëta - Pucëtienë - Pucëtaitë
Sadauskas - Sadauskienë - Sadauskaitë
All the above correct spellings of names are needed if you would search for relatives in Lithuania.
Jankaitis/Jonkaitis
As you can see from the lists below, JOnkaitis used to live in the Southwest region of Lithuania; JAnkaitis used to live in the north of Lithuania. (You can check all the places either on www.maps.lt or google maps)
Novikas/Navikas
NAvikas is more common in the Southwest region.
I believe that Navikas, Sadauskas and Pucëta came from Marijampolë parish. According to Mary's arrival in 1912, she came from Aukðtoji Village, Marijampolë Parish, Suwalki District (Gubernya).
Pucëta is a very rare last name in Lithuania. If you find any Pucëta who originated from Marijampolë or Sasnava districts, they could be your distant relatives.
The following lists are from the Lithuanian Surnames Database which is based on the Dictionary of Lithuanian Surnames. It shows in which places and around which placed people with these names USED to live before the Second World War and how many were registered. I am giving those lists to you just to see how common (or uncommon) the names were and where people with these names used to live. I highlighted Marijampolë just to show that people with the last names in your wife's family did live in hat area.
