There will be funeral services at 10:am Wednesday at Schavone Funeral Home for Mary J Horvath, 68, who passed away Saturday after a 7-year battle with breast cancer.
She was born Nov 2, 1935 in Youngstown, the daughter of Bernadetta and Frank Higgins , and was a 1953 Ursuline High School graduate.
Mrs. Horvath leaves her husband, John Horvath, whom she married Nov 1, 1960, two sons, Nick Vigarino of Stanwood Wash, and John Horvath of Youngstown, a granddaughter, Katie Horvath of Youngstown, a brother, Steve (Charlotte) Higgins of Lowellville, ; a sister, Marcella Kelly of Austintown, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home where there will be a prayer service. 12/29/2003 Youngstown Vindicator.
