Edward M. Dever, 89, of Sharpsville passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2024.

Edward was born January 15th, 1935 to Mary (Joyce) and John Dever in Sharpsville, PA. He was a 1952 graduate of Sharpsville High School. On August 2nd, 1986 he married his wife, the late Julia M. (Caracci) Dever who passed away September 23rd, 2020. He worked for Sawhill Tubular as a furnace operator, until his retirement. He was a member of the Sharpsville VFW and America Legion. Edward also enjoyed watching baseball, particularly following the Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Pirates.

He is survived by his brother, Patrick M. Dever, sister-in-law, Patricia Dever, and many nieces and nephews.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, wife Julia, brothers, Thomas J. Dever, John E. Dever, Peter J. Dever, and sister Mary Ellen Dever.

Friends may call Wednesday January 31st, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in St. Bartholomew R.C. Church 311 W. Ridge Ave. Sharpsville, PA.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday January 31st, 2024 at 11:00 am in the church with Father Richard Allen, officiating.

Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery next to his wife.
