Robert loved being with his family, camping at his grandparent's cabin, and being a loving father to his son. He will always be remembered for the way he could smile with his eyes.
Funeral Mass Tues. 12 noon, Jan. 2, 2001, St. Vincent Catholic Church, 1375 E. Spring Lane where friends may call 10:30-11:45 a.m. Interment Murray City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we suggest that a donation be made to Zions Bank in the name of Robert Best.

Andrew K. Cahoe, 83, of Honey Brook, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Brandywine Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Anna M. Garrity Cahoe, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Jesse and Mary Alice Spalding Cahoe.
Mr. Cahoe proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a machinist for LG Industries for 32 years, retiring in 1994. A member of St. Peter Church, Mr. Cahoe was also a member of the American Legion Post #0662 in New Holland. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed collecting and showing them in car shows. He was also a collector of Lionel model trains.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Laura Hetzel of Downingtown, Donna Schroder of New Hampshire, Joseph of Honey Brook, Kim Cowan of Elverson, William of Pottstown and Rhiannon Cahoe of Elverson. He is also survived by his brother, James of New Castle, Pa.; and by 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Kenneth.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5th at St. Peter Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. A visitation will also be held from 6 to 8 on Tuesday evening, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.
Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, West Brandywine.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the America Diabetes Association , 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.

Samuel was born in Baltimore in 1862 to William C and Mary (Ramsay) Derr,
the fourth of six children. The family suffered great tragedy, losing the eldest son
Charles Ramsay, the youngest daughter Maggie, and the grandmother Margaret
Ann Ramsay within three days in 1873.
The tragedy continued as they moved to Pennsylvania and mother Mary and
sister Amanda drowned in a canal, to which young Samuel was a witness.
Samuel met and married Georganne Molair in 1885 in Ellicott City, MD and
had one son, William.

(Research):George E. Henderson, 87, of Harmar Township, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, in his home. He was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Pittsburgh to the late Floyd N. and Leah Coleman Henderson. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the Army and was a resident of Harmar for the past 55 years. Mr. Henderson started his career working for the Forestry Division of the City of Pittsburgh, became a boiler maker and retired as a stationary engineer for the Carnegie Bellfield Boiler Plant. George worked in a darkroom developing and printing film, worked high iron as a boiler maker on all the steel mills and many of the power plants in the tri-state area, worked as a climber for Davey Tree, and as a pump man, engineer and welder at the Cloud Factory. He shot pool, played drums in many Pittsburgh bands, gardened, loved music, playing golf, took care of a pond full of fish and took photos. Survivors are his son, Donald (Pamela) Henderson, of New Kensington; daughter, Patricia (Wayne) Roberson, of O'Hara Township; two grandchildren, Shane P. and Brigid M. Henderson; brother-in-law, Patrick J. (Shirley) Ging, of Monroeville; sister-in-law, Lillian Henderson, of Monroeville; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen M. Ging Henderson; sister, Esther I. Wilson; and two brothers, Thomas C. and Floyd N. (Hank) Henderson.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 6, at CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 1607 Pittsburgh St., Cheswick, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, with burial next to his wife to follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.
