Mary McGing was born in 1840 in Clonbur, Galway, IrelandG. She and John O'Neill were married. She died in 1900, at age ~60, in Ballynakill, Galway, IrelandG.

I have added this Mary to thios McGing family because they are south Mayo/north Galway based. I have a similar couple near Westport but do not believe that it's likely that the wife met and married a man from near Clonbur and moved "down" there. It's more logical thatMary was a local girl marrying a local boy.

I could be wrongt.But there is a dna linkage to the McGings so this is a working theory for the moment.

New Castle News 12/17/1937 Obit

John Ronan died of complications in his homw 621 West Madison, Thursday afternoon at 5 o'clock following th death of his brother Patrick by just three weeks.

Mr Ronan was born at Co Mayo Ireland son of John and Julia McGing Ronan. Seventeen years ago he came to New Castle from Glasgow Scotland and had been employed since by the P & L E railroad. He was a member of St Margaret's church and the Holy Name Society.

Thirty nine years ago he married Mary Mulroy who survives. He leaves three sons, Johnm Thomas and Martin Ronan, at home, four daughters, Mrs W.L. Philips, and Mrs G. J Stinson Jr of this city and mary and Henrietta at home, one sister Mrs Mary Miller, and one brother, James Ronan in Ireland and four grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9 oclock Monday morning in St Margaret's church amd interment wil be in St Mary's cemetery.

(Research):Just reviewing Ellis Island manifests and came across a Bridget McGing who in July 20, 1900 came on the ship Germanic and she was coming to be with her father J (no damn name, just J McGing) in Lowellville, OH. She travelled with her cousin, John Coyne (her father was his uncle). But can't triangulate the family .
