Patrick McGing was born in 1775. He was married. He and Mary Heneghan were married in 1799 JUst a guess for calculation purposes.

Per Tom Kenny, this is how the Moyhastin group is set up. Based on the 1855 Griffiths, Patrick is here and these are all possible children, based on his evaluation of the records.

Just a guess on age and whether a son of James, brother to Myles or not.

If we could get Y DNA from a male of this line we could see if it matches the tests already done.

He had only one daughter and asked my father could he spare one of the lads for the summer as he had no help to fork hay or do anything. So Phil went there willingly and he would have been about 16 [Phil was born in 1923]. The work part of it was fine, but the poor young girl who was cooking and baking hadn't a clue and her mother always calling her Mary Anne and Mary Anne not listening or not knowing what to do or anything. It was shocking and Phil couldn't do much for them. Poor Mary Anne had it tough and to make matters worse she married a bad man. He was an alcoholic. She had two boys and a girl. He sold some of the land when Eddie died and drank the price of it.
