(Research):August 14, 1910 John McGing, age 20 and listed as single, arrived in New York City on the ship Cedric, having sailed from Liverpool. Heathport, Ireland is listed as his residence. Westport is listed as his place of birth on the manifest. He traveled steerage. He had never been in the US before, and his sister paid his fare. He was going to stay with her, Maggie McGing, 102 Magnolia St., Dayton Ohio. Per the manifest, he was 5 foot 9 inches tall, with a fair complexion, fair hair and blue eyes.

Died of the flu

I have the death certificate, he went by McGinn. Worked for the B and O Railroad. Buried in Calvary Cemetery. resided at 25 McKindley St, Dayton Ohio.
